My responsibilities covered people, finance, contracts and corporate administration. I entered this environment as COO of a Netherlands-based AdTech startup. After its acquisition by AirPush, my work expanded to several functions and countries, including Chief of Staff responsibilities for group leadership.

During a commercial dispute in Dubai, I worked on negotiations, technical validation and preparation of the company’s position, and represented AirPush at the arbitration hearing. Specialist counsel handled the legal work.

AI transformation

Advisory to an agency founder.

For more than a year, I have worked regularly with the founder of a full-cycle AI transformation agency. We review service offers, client requests, responsibilities, delivery capacity and business decisions. My work is advisory to the agency.

Deva / Wellbe: digital-health research and operations, 2021

Deva, later Wellbe, was a digital-health startup offering lifestyle assessment and personal coaching. When the business was considering expansion, I researched customers in the CIS and the US and recommended adapting the product and sales approach first. I revised the assessment and first-consultation format. Later responsibilities included consultations, feedback, CRM, mentor capacity, documents and development tasks.

What I actually do

How I take the work forward.

These functions recur throughout an assignment. Decisions, changes and approvals are handled as the work develops.

Working together

What do you need help with?

Company operations

You have an operating issue or an initiative involving several departments. You need someone to prepare decisions and take responsibility for agreed work in people, finance, contracts or company projects.

This may be a Chief of Staff / Strategic Operations role, a part-time assignment or advisory. We agree what I manage, what I can decide and how the work is reviewed.

A product or client project

You want to build or improve a digital product, business system or AI-enabled service. You need the requirements, estimates, team responsibilities and client decisions made clear, then the work managed through review and handover.

I can work with a business commissioning development or an agency managing a client account. The assignment can cover advice, the client relationship, project management or an agreed combination.

Who carries out development?

I can work with your team or involve developers, designers and other specialists from my professional network. We agree their availability, responsibilities and terms for the project. AI-assisted prototyping and implementation can be appropriate for a limited task; technical review and testing are agreed alongside the work.

How we agree an assignment

We start with your situation, the people involved and the work already done. If there is a fit, we agree the scope, responsibilities, access, timing, fees and review criteria. At completion, we review the result, remaining work and who takes it forward.

Questions

A few practical questions.

Can we start before the brief is ready?

Yes. Describe what you want to resolve or build, who is involved and where the work stands. We can clarify the task before deciding on an assignment.

How does advisory differ from an operating role?

In advisory, I help frame questions and review options while the client owns decisions and implementation. In an operating role or project, we agree the work I manage, the decisions I can make and how the result is reviewed.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. An assignment can focus on clarifying requirements, coordinating existing specialists, managing client communication or following work through to review. We agree the responsibilities with the people involved.

How do you use AI?

I use AI-assisted workflows for research, drafting, prototyping and appropriate implementation tasks. The approach depends on the task, the data involved and where the result will be used. We agree the review and testing needed before the work starts.
